An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join an inclusive and value driven public sector organisation with an outstanding organisational culture. We offer free car parking, a generous pension and generous annual leave.

We are looking for a customer‑focused Helpdesk Operator to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Service. The Helpdesk plays a critical role in supporting our operational and support staff, ensuring they can access the technology and systems they need to keep Lancashire safe.

This role will involve providing first‑line / second-line technical support, logging and resolving incidents and service requests, and working closely with colleagues across DDaT to restore service as quickly and effectively as possible. You will be a key point of contact for users, requiring strong communication skills and a positive, problem‑solving approach.

It’s an exciting time to join the team as we continue to modernise our technology and ways of working. The successful candidate will have opportunities to develop their technical skills, gain experience across a range of technologies, and progress through an established career pathway within DDaT. Training and development will be supported, including access to relevant IT and customer service-learning opportunities.

Closing date for applications is 12:00 hours on 19 May 2026, however we reserve the right to close the advert prior to this if sufficient quality applications have been received.
