At 21:23 on the 3rd November 2023, four fire engines from Bacup, Rawtenstall and Haslingden attended a commercial building fire on Shawclough Road, Rossendale. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets, a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for three hours and twenty minutes.
